Your guide to onboarding with TriNet, KWK's payroll and employment platform. Complete this before your deadline to ensure you are set up for payroll, direct deposit, and employment verification. Return to it any time you need to update your banking information or troubleshoot a pay issue.
As part of your employment with Kode With Klossy, you'll complete onboarding and manage your pay details through TriNet, our professional employer organization (PEO). TriNet is where we add you to payroll, verify your employment eligibility, and process your pay. For tracking time and submitting timecards, see the separate Payroll & Time Tracking Guide.
Onboarding to TriNet
Complete your TriNet onboarding by the deadline communicated in your welcome email. TriNet's onboarding system has a strict timeline. If onboarding isn't completed in time, TriNet will automatically terminate your employment record, which delays your ability to be paid. Please complete all steps promptly.
Where to Start
To get started, you’ll click on the link sent to you via email from the Kode With Klossy team. Look for an onboarding email from hr@kodewithklossy.com with the subject line: "Kode with Klossy invites you to log in to TriNet!" Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Step 1: Log In
Use the link provided in the TriNet email.
Trouble logging in? If you've previously worked with KWK and can't access your account, contact the TriNet Solution Center at 800.638.0461 or employees@trinet.com. Kode With Klossy cannot unlock accounts or reset passwords on your behalf.

Step 3: Fill Out Tax & Employment Verification Forms
Complete all tax forms and employment verification documents in-platform.
Step 4: Set Up Direct Deposit
During onboarding, you'll be asked to enter your direct deposit information. This is the fastest and safest way to receive your pay.

KWK and TriNet are not responsible for lost or stolen checks. Direct deposit is strongly recommended for all employees. To set up direct deposit, you'll need your:
- Bank name
- Routing number
- Account number
Step 5: Complete Section 1
Go through all steps in Section 1, but do not complete Section 2. This section is completed by the Kode With Klossy HR team.
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I update my direct deposit information?
To manage or update your direct deposit details:
- Log in at login.trinet.com
- Navigate to: Money → Pay Options
All direct deposit updates must be submitted at least 3 calendar days before the payroll processing date to take effect for that payroll cycle. If incorrect or outdated bank details are used and funds are sent to a closed or incorrect account, it may take up to 5 business days for the funds to be returned to TriNet by the receiving bank.
How do I add another account to my direct deposit options?
- In Money → Pay Options, click "Add Account."
- Enter the verification code sent to your primary contact method (based on your multi-factor authentication settings in the Settings menu).
- Once verified, you can:
- Add a new bank account
- Delete an existing account by clicking the X
- Adjust the deposit amount or percentage if using multiple accounts
- Click Save.
Can I schedule a change to my direct deposit for a future date?
- Under "Schedule or view a change," select "Schedule a change."
- Choose your desired effective date.
- Enter the verification code sent to your primary contact method.
- Add or delete accounts and adjust amounts/percentages as needed.
- Click Save.
I already submitted my direct deposit information via DocuSign. Do I need to do it again?
You still need to re-enter this information in TriNet. Even if some information was submitted earlier via DocuSign, TriNet requires direct entry to finalize your employment and process payroll.
